INSPIRING A LIFELONG LOVE OF LEARNING AND SERVING IN A CHRIST-CENTERED ENVIRONMENT

SIGNAL MOUNTAIN CHRISTIAN CO-OP

We offer a unique alternative, providing an education that focuses on meeting the needs of the whole middle school student. We believe parents are the primary educators, and we strive to come alongside them in cultivating lifelong learners. Our teachers seek to glorify God and share the knowledge of His saving grace through excellent curriculum taught from a Biblical worldview.

Our school meets on the lovely campus of Wayside Presbyterian Church, located atop beautiful Signal Mountain. Classes offered for grades sixth through eighth include Bible, history, Latin, science, language arts/writing, and mathematics.

Classes are taught in block schedule:

Monday through Thursday from 8:45 am to 3:30 pm

Full-time (4 days)

Part-time (2 days)

"We learn about God, history, science, math and Latin and we have fun doing it." ~Student

"At SMCC, the teachers love God, and they mentor the students to love God first.  The teachers also love the subjects that they teach, and they share that love with the students.  They make learning fun! The small environment allows for a “one on one” teaching approach in which the students feel validated and have the confidence to ask questions to gain a deeper understanding of the material when they have questions or are struggling.  It is an environment in which the students can work out their faith in the years when it needs to grow from their head to their heart."  ~SMCC Parent
